Dr. Michelle Zachman-Wolverton
Secretary | Parent Member
Michelle is a proud parent and aunt to KCS middle school students. Prior to KCS, Michelle’s son attended a large public school. Her family valued the time spent there but also experienced challenges that come with having a student in a large educational setting. Her experience enhanced her appreciation for small, community schools like KCS, and she joined the Board to help create a welcoming, safe, engaging, and FUN learning environment. Michelle and family members volunteer regularly in the KCS cafeteria, library, and with the Comets Boosters. (If you want to volunteer at KCS and aren’t sure where to start, reach out to Michelle!) Professionally, Michelle has worked as a pharmacist in the healthcare industry for more than 20 years. Michelle is a member of the Governance and Personnel committee.

Ms. Dianne Omoth
Teacher Member
Dianne is thrilled to have the opportunity to be a Reading and Math Intervention teacher at KCS. While she is new to this position, she is not new to working in the schools. For the last 3 years, Dianne has been a Special Education Paraprofessional and Special Education Administrative Assistant at KCS. Prior to that, she spent the last 5 years working as a paraprofessional at various public schools. Dianne is also a KCS parent. Two of her three children attend high school at KCS. What they love about KCS is the small class sizes, robust art program, and personal attention they receive from all staff. Dianne saw this first from a parent’s perspective and now experiences it daily as part of the KCS staff. Dianne is proud to represent the KCS School Board and is a member of the District Advisory Committee.
