School-Linked Mental Health Services
Helping Students Thrive, Right at School
School-Linked Mental Health (SLMH) is a unique program that brings mental health care directly into schools. By embedding services in familiar, accessible settings, SLMH helps remove barriers to treatment and ensures that students receive the support they need to thrive both academically and emotionally. Through this partnership with CMMHC, we are able to provide outpatient mental health care for students in Grades K through 12. This approach helps children and adolescents access support without the challenges of traveling to an outside clinic. Services are available during the school day and throughout the year, including summer months.
How It Helps
- Services are available for students Grades K-12.
- Care is provided during the school day and even continues over summer.
- Mental health professionals work with teachers, staff, and families to support student success.
- Students learn tools and strategies they can use in school and at home.
Getting Started
If you think your child could benefit from these services, simply reach out to your school’s main office, counselor, or social worker to ask about registration.
Services are fee-based, but most insurance is accepted.
Together, we can support students’ mental health and help them succeed—both in and out of the classroom.
