Small groups worked through the challenges and opportunities facing the school, and the full group spent time on Mission and Vision - what KCS stands for and how that gets communicated.
Draft mission statement
"At KCS we create community while inspiring students to grow and develop curiosity for life and learning."
The third meeting is April 28, where the group will work on Core Values and Strategies. The completed plan goes to the KCS School Board on June 25.
