Sewing Club

Thank you for your interest in the High School Sewing Club for 7th-12th Grades!

What are we?

We are a club that will teach how to sew using a sewing machine. We will begin with how to use the machine, sewing tips, and small practice sewing projects. Then we will create a larger project. Though we work on projects, these don’t always have a deadline. Use this time to relax, talk and make something we love.

What is our mission?

To teach and hone sewing skills and inspire students to create projects they love. 

Do I need any skills to join?

No. If you are inexperienced in sewing, you are welcome to join us and learn. If you are a new learner, some important characteristics to have though are determination and motivation. Since learning a new skill takes dedicated practice and patience.

Where do we meet?

In the high school science room. Room 700. Ms. Kasper will be the advisor for this club.

When do we meet?

• Fridays 2:30pm - 4:00pm. 

• From the dates of 1/09/26- 3/06/26

Club cost

• $50 registration fee paid on Infinite Campus

• There may be some additional minor cost for specific tools, equipment and materials when students need them.

Fabric, thread, and pin donations would be appreciated! 

How to register and pay for activities at KCS:

1.       Sign into your parent portal on Infinite Campus.

2.       On the right of the screen click on “My Accounts” 

3.       Then click on “Optional Payments”

4.       Click on “Add to Cart” for what activity you are registering for (7-12 Sewing Club)

a.       If you have more than one student, make sure you have the correct student selected in the top right corner.

5.       Go to “My Cart” and follow prompts to register/pay.
