Strategic Plan Yearly Focus Areas

The strategic plan sets 6 challenging goals for Kaleidoscope Charter School. Achieving these goals will be a complex process. To help organize the work that needs to be done, the administrative team has set focus areas for each of the next four years.
Summer 2017
- Create a consistent Kaleidoscope Brand including key messages, visual marks, tagline, and brand strategy
- Create a plan for all communication at Kaleidoscope
- Create a Leadership Team with representation from all grade levels and content teams
- Restructure Q-Comp and PLCs to more effectively embed professional development and feedback into teacher workdays
2017-2018
- Complete an analysis of future facility needs and act upon the findings
- Develop a plan to phase in complete extracurricular programming
- Improve the recruitment and onboarding process for new employees
- Regain fidelity in performance evaluations and improvement plans
- Regain fidelity in instructional framework and expectations
- Design a training program for all new employees to be implemented in 2018-2019
2018-2019
- Create a community involvement committee to increase the number of touch points with the surrounding communities
- Design a program to ensure personalized and tiered academic and behavior interventions
- Refine the budgeting process and employee benefits package
- Create a process for staff to develop and work toward individual goals
2019-2020
