Are students going to stop saying the Pledge of Allegiance?
-
For the past four years, students have said the Pledge of Allegiance every day during the morning announcements. The only exception to this was a short period of time following the building expansion when the intercom system was not operational. Kaleidoscope adopted a Pledge of Allegiance policy in 2009 which includes the presence of the Pledge of Allegiance during morning announcements. We believe that this practice is important as it is one way that we are able to provide instruction to students in the proper etiquette, display, and respect of the flag.
