Will the Strategic Plan impact what specials my child has?
-
One objective of the new strategic plan is that KCS will “guarantee all students access to an engaging, rigorous and viable curriculum.” Having the opportunity to participate in specials is an important part of creating engaging academic programing for students. Elementary students will continue to have one hour of specials each day. Students in the elementary school will continue to have music, art, physical education and Spanish. In past school years, technology class has been taught to students in Kindergarten through 4th grade. Beginning this fall, technology class will be taught to 2nd through 8th graders.
