Will the Logic of English curriculum remain at KCS?
-
In 2013, the Kindergarten classrooms at KCS piloted the Logic of English (LOE) reading curriculum. This made KCS the first public school in the country to utilize LOE. The curriculum was fully adopted for the 2014/2015 school year and has been utilized ever since in Kindergarten through third grade. KCS reviews its curriculum on a 7 year cycle. The elementary reading curriculum (LOE) is due to be reviewed again prior to the 2021/2022 school year.
