Ms. Andrea Fierst

My name is Andrea Fierst. This will be my third year teaching fifth grade at Kaleidoscope. I worked in the Anoka-Hennepin school district from 2013-2017, and from 2007-2014, I worked in a daycare center. I have wanted to teach fifth grade ever since I was in fifth grade, so I am very excited to be doing just that!

I graduated from the University of Northwestern- St. Paul in the Spring of 2013 with a BS in Elementary Education and a Pre-Primary Endorsement. I grew up in Blaine, MN, but now live in Zimmerman with my two cats, Pebbles and Ducky. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, coffee, and cheering for the MN Vikings.

Feel free to contact me with any questions throughout the school year. I look forward to a great year. Go Comets!

My name is Stephanie Leer and I am very excited to be teaching your child this year.  This is my third year teaching 5th grade, and my fourth year at KCS.  Over the years, I have taught kindergarten through 6th grade.  I am extremely passionate about getting my students to love reading and become life-long learners.

I live in Otsego with my husband and our dog, Numa.  We love to travel and create exciting, new adventures.  We have hiked many trails in Glacier National Park, and been to the top of Mount St. Helen's, Half Dome in Yosemite National Park, and Boundary Peak (the highest point in Nevada).  In my free time, I like to read, spend time with my family, take Numa for walks, sew, be creative, and have fun.

I'm looking forward to another fabulous year in 5th grade!
