• Biology
During this course, students will study major concepts, theories, and principles of biology.
Major topics covered include botany, biochemistry, ecology, microbiology, genetics,
immunology, reproduction, and basic animal behavior. This course requires participation in
    projects, labs, and field studies.

Chemistry is the study of matter and how it changes. Students will study various topics using
mathematical equations and chemical principles to see how chemistry influences the world
around them. Topics include the Periodic Table, changes in matter, chemical reactions, phases
    of matter, and acids/bases.

    Physical Science
Physical Science combines an introductory study of Chemistry and Physics. Topics covered
include motion, force, energy, atoms, chemical bonding, scientific ethics, the periodic table, and
    the scientific method.
